4. 제목: Topology of singular toric varieties
5. 초록:
"Toric topology" refers to a branch of mathematics that explores various topological spaces having torus symmetries. The central objects are toric varieties, which serve as valuable platforms for testing general theories in different fields of mathematics such as algebraic, symplectic, and complex geometry, representation theory, and combinatorics. Due to their nice torus symmetries, these varieties have numerous desirable properties, one of which is the cohomological rigidity conjecture. This conjecture aims to determine whether the classification of smooth toric varieties can be accomplished by their cohomology rings. In this talk, we will examine this conjecture in the context of singular toric varieties and present several recent studies on the topology of singular toric varieties.
